Designing a website is all about time, space and form. So take a moment to read some of the pages on this site, and

you might learn something about all three, their relationship to each other and their place in website design simplicity.

I have tried to make this site (as I do with all the sites I design now) a subtle synthesis of usability and functionality,

while maintaining simple visual impact.

Many websites today are so complex that it is often difficult if not impossible to navigate successfully around the site.

Photos that have nothing to do with the content of the site are often strewn about like so many toys in a childs room.

Music plays in the background while graphics pulsate or flash on the page like images from a video game.  All these

"bells and whistles" often mask or dilute the content and can result in the user's frustration in accessing something

that you wanted them to locate.

In contrast, a simple, well-formed website is easy and logical to navigate and presents a minimal amount of distractions.

The websurfer can quickly move from page to page while finding the content that he/she desires embedded within well

placed and well structured visual themes.

While the scope of some projects may be small (such as this site), others may be quite large (such as the

www.finaldialogue.com
website with over 80 pages of content).  Whether the contentis large or small, it is always possible

to create a feeling of simplicity and usability.

I hope you enjoy the information presented on this site and I look forward to working with you soon.
